The Weaver Mountains are a smaller mountain range in west central Yavapai County , Arizona.  They are @ 25 miles long by @ 12 miles wide, with a highest elevation at Weaver Peak of 6,574’ (2,004m). The communities along and proximate to the State Highway 89 corridor, in the Weaver Mountains region are: Congress, Stanton/Octave, Glen Ilah, Yarnell, Peeples Valley, Kirkland Junction, Wagoner, Walnut Grove, Wilhoit, Kirkland, Hillside and Skull Valley covering some nearly 400 sq. miles. When travelling along SR 89, you'll experience geographical phenomenons of ancient boulders carrying historic energy and beauty and the serenity of the “wide open spaces.
